A three-phase approach will place lodging in three or more locations as depicted in the map at right. Phase one is Guangzhou (see city map below). Phase two will like include Xi’an and Hainan island. The model minimises facility costs by emphasising the room product, not public spaces nor elaborate spa buildings. Indigenous building technology and materials are utilised as well as local workforce and crafts-people. Each destination will be marketed just below the rate leader.
